Sophie is a wildlife sculptor whose work is rooted in a deep reverence for the natural world.

She trained in figurative sculpture at Wimbledon School of Art in London, where she developed a strong foundation in anatomy and form. Now working from her studio in the Hampshire countryside, Sophie creates bronze sculptures inspired by time spent observing animals in their natural habitats - with a particular affection for birds, whose movement and presence continually inspire her. Using clay and wax, her process is intuitive and expressive, always seeking to capture the essence of a subject rather than simply its surface. Her aim is to evoke a moment of connection - a felt sense of life and energy held in form.

Sophie works on both private and public commissions, and her sculptures have been shown across the UK and collected internationally. She collaborates with a leading Hampshire foundry - Sculpture Castings Ltd, using traditional bronze casting methods to bring her work into lasting material form.

At CarFest, Sophie’s sculpture offers a quiet invitation to slow down and reconnect - to notice the beauty and vitality of the natural world, and the part we all play in it.
